Lou G Siegel

ABRAHAM  WEISS

MR. Weiss has 30 years of catering experience.  His family owned Weiss's
Dairy Restaurant in Flatbush, where he got his start in the food service business.  Later, he opened up a larger restaurant with two catering halls.  After many years of running the restaurant and servicing clients through the catering business, Mr. Weiss purchased the Lou G. Siegel brand.  Using Lou G. Siegel name, Mr. Weiss has successfully operated a Glatt kosher food service and catering business servicing the airline and hospitality industries.  The Lou G. Siegel name has been associated with fine kosher catering since 1917 and represents the highest standard in the industry.


 

ALAN SCHONFELD

Mr. Schonfeld has 30 years of catering, retail and customer service experience.  Most recently he was Vice President, Sales at Prestige Caterers from 2000-2009, where he was responsible for selling and executing approximately 150 Glatt Kosher events annually.  Prior to his tenure at Prestige, his on-premise catering experience included positions with Royal Caribbean Cruise line, The Huntington Townhouse, Presidential Tours and The Greenporter Hotel.  Prior to his catering career, Mr. Schonfeld spent 20 years in retail, working with companies such as Metropolitan Museum of Art and Bed Bath and Beyond.  He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Interior Design from New York University.  In addition, Mr. Schonfeld attended an Orthodox Yeshiva high school.


 

DAVID COOPER

Mr. Cooper has 24 years experience in the food industry, including six years as an Executive Chef.  Most recently, he was Executive Chef with Prestige Caterers from 2004-2009.  Prior to being promoted to Executive Chef, Mr. Cooper held the position of Sous Chef with Prestige from 2000-2004.  As Executive Chef, he was responsible for organizing and managing food preparation for 15-30 parties on a weekly basis and managed a fully staff kitchen.  Prior to Prestige, Mr. Cooper was President of G&G Waffles, a gourmet waffle and pancake mix distribution company, from 1997-2000.  In addition, he served as Executive Chef at the AT&T World Headquarters in New York.  Mr. Cooper earned a Culinary Arts degree from the Culinary Institute of America, New York.  In addition, he earned a Bachelors of Business Management and Finance degree from Brooklyn College.
